Kindergarten Prep
Welcome to Reade Street Prep’s Academic Enrichment program, Kindergarten Prep!
Help prepare your child for their next adventure, Kindergarten! K Prep is designed to ready students for kindergarten, both academically and socially. In addition to math and literacy activities, K Prep will include problem-solving, public speaking, and collaboration with peers. We’re dedicated to nurturing your child’s love of learning and supporting their academic achievements outside of regular school hours. Our experienced teachers understand that building relationships, trust, and mutual engagement is the key to getting children excited about learning.
The structure of the class period will provide students the opportunity to build stamina, learn how to work independently for short periods of time, and practice transitions between different activities.
K Prep is designed for students entering Kindergarten the following school year.
What They’ll Do
- Pre-reading activities
- Math games
- Writing workshop
- Social and collaborative projects
Sessions are held Mondays OR Wednesdays | 3:45pm – 4:45pm
